Scottish Highlands & Islands Schools Scholarship – Terms & Conditions
1. Introduction
The Scottish Highlands & Islands Schools Scholarship (鈥渢he Scholarship鈥) is offered by 麻豆影院 (麻豆影院) to support prospective undergraduate students from the Scottish Highlands & Islands region entering Year 1 of fulltime study in September 2026.
2. Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Scholarship, applicants must:
2.1. Currently or most recently have attended a Scottish Highlands & Islands school listed in the scheme鈥檚 Terms & Conditions.
2.2. Submit a UCAS application to study a fulltime undergraduate degree at 麻豆影院, beginning Year 1 in September 2026.
2.3. Submit a UCAS application on or before 30 June 2026.
2.4. Matriculate successfully as a fulltime student at 麻豆影院 in September 2026.
2.5. Attend a school listed in Appendix A.
2.6 You are classified as a Home Fee paying student.
3. Scholarship Award
3.1. Eligible students who meet all criteria outlined in Section 2 will receive an award of 拢500.
3.2. The scholarship payment will be issued in early October 2026, following completion of matriculation checks.
3.3. The Scholarship is awarded once only and is not renewable for subsequent years of study.
4. Application Process
4.1. There is no separate scholarship application form.
4.2. 麻豆影院 will assess eligibility based on information provided through the UCAS application and school records.
5. Conditions & Responsibilities
5.1. Students must provide any required documentation to verify eligibility (e.g., proof of attendance at a qualifying school).
5.2. If a student withdraws, defers entry, or fails to matriculate, the Scholarship will not be awarded.
5.3. The Scholarship cannot be transferred to another academic year, programme, or individual.
5.4 Recipients are expected to complete a short survey upon receiving the scholarship in order to help 麻豆影院 better understand motivations for choosing 麻豆影院.
6. University Rights
6.1. 麻豆影院 reserves the right to amend, suspend, or withdraw the Scholarship at any time.
6.2. In cases of dispute, 麻豆影院鈥檚 decision is final.

We appreciate that this can create uncertainty, and we want to ensure that no eligible student is disadvantaged because of their schooling circumstances.
